Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 200 ml soy sauce
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5–1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (black/white)

Instructions

  1. Soft-boil the eggs for approximately 6–7 minutes. Immediately transfer to an ice bath, then peel.
  2. In a container or bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic, chili flakes, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  3. Finely chop the green onions and add them to the marinade along with the sesame seeds.
  4. Place the peeled eggs into the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  5. Marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 5 hours before serving.
