  • 500 g cottage cheese
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 200 ml cream (kookroom)
  • 180 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 75 g cornstarch or rice flour
  • Vanilla extract (to taste)
  • Lime zest (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C on the top-and-bottom heat setting.
  2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for approximately 1 hour.
  4. The casserole is done when the center is set (not jiggly) and a golden-brown crust has formed on top.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
  6. For the best texture, leave in the refrigerator overnight and serve cold or reheated the next morning.
