Ingredients
- 500 g cottage cheese
- 250 g cream cheese
- 200 ml cream (kookroom)
- 180 g sugar
- 5 eggs
- 75 g cornstarch or rice flour
- Vanilla extract (to taste)
- Lime zest (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C on the top-and-bottom heat setting.
- Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for approximately 1 hour.
- The casserole is done when the center is set (not jiggly) and a golden-brown crust has formed on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- For the best texture, leave in the refrigerator overnight and serve cold or reheated the next morning.
